About me

My name is Filip Janiak, and I am currently research fellow at University of Sussex, UK. I am working in Tom Baden lab, where I combine my skills and expertise in experimental physics and optics with neuroscience research on vision.

I have a PhD and MSc in Physics, where I was working on optical investigation of low dimensional semiconductor structures dedicated for infrared lasers. And I have more than 5 years of postdoctoral experience in neuroscience, where I am working on development and application of optical method to investigate neuronal activity.

During my career I have met many scientist, who could use two-photon microscopy as an efficient tool to ask sophisticated scientific questions. Being one of You, I decided to connect the dots and start very new company, as a unique response to market gap.
